Why obtain residency in Panama?

Planting flags around the world is not only a smart choice, but it has ultimately become a necessity in today’s world. A person’s citizenship defines them, in every sense. It dictates where you can live, where you can travel to, and it bounds you to a single government limiting your personal, economic and financial freedom. Obtaining a second residence or citizenship offers you choices and secures your biggest asset: you and your family.

Panama is a small, beautiful country located in Central America; bordered by the Caribbean on the North, the Pacific Ocean on the South, and connected by the infamous Panama Canal. While mountainous terrains and rich forest canopies cover half the country, this tropical paradise also offers over 1550 miles of coastline with some of the world’s most spectacular beaches.

Residents have settled and made Panama home, enjoying the warm client, multicultural vibes in cities and towns, and of course the untouched natural beauty. Other permanent residents take advantage of the minimal physical requirements (1-2 days every 2 years) of permanent residency status while still securing their Plan B.
